Finding the Final Cache

"This was our favourite spot. We built this boardwalk lookout ourselves to always have a place to gaze out at the lake. I remember carrying each board on our shoulders... how many were there again? We hid a memory box beneath it, but I can't remember where we left the key...

Find the box, and answer this riddle. Send the answer to Kevin's team. They will respond with a number. Count that many boards in the boardwalk lookout and check under the railing for a key to unlock the cache box.

"We spent many days burying gifts for each other to find near this bench. I think she left one for me I never found, but I don't know how far back up the trail it was. I remember I had to count something on the bench to find how many steps to walk..."

Kaylee's team will provide you a number to help you find your buried treasure.

If Kaylee's team gives the number:

• 35: Count the bolts on the top of the bench seat
• 40: Count the wooden seat slats
• 46: Count the letters in the plaque inscription
• 51: Count the plaque's words
• 55: Count the screws on the bench's side rails

If they provide anything else, ask them to check again.

Reply to Kaylee's team with your answer, then count that many paces towards the lake to find the buried treasure.
