Introduction
Kaylee and Kevin loved three things: plants, puzzles, and each other. Over decades of travel, their adventures always circled back to Pink Lake. They had a tradition: wherever they explored, they would secretly leave small gifts for one another to find.
Now, they've left behind six QR clues — a digital trail retracing their favorite route — and it’s up to your team to walk it to find the two gifts they hid for each other.
Each QR code unlocks the location of the next, ending in a two hidden caches. Your group will stay together until the Challenge 6. After this, the team will split in two — and solving the final step to reveal the caches will only be possible with precise coordination.
Group Strategy
Divide into two teams. Don't worry, you'll be together for the entire hike, until the last cache location (we find it's fun to keep kids in one group and adults in the other!)
- Team Kaylee: after Challenge 6, they will continue a short distance to find a key and lockbox.
- Team Kevin: after Challenge 6, they will backtrack a short distance to find a buried cache.
Complete Challenge 1 through 6 together, then follow the instructions to discover Kaylee and Kevin's gifts for each team! You’ll need each other to succeed. Neither team can unlock their cache without the other’s help — just like Kaylee and Kevin couldn’t explore the world without each other.
